River Crane Sanctuary
A walk from Kneller Gardens to The Shot Tower which is great for all abilities and free to access. It has wild areas along the route with a multitude of wildflowers; self-sown and planted.
Visitor Information
This walk is open all the time and we have Bat Walks in the evenings! There is a cafe and toilet at Kneller Gardens and parking is free on surrounding roads with access points along the route.

Various vouluntary groups and charities organise events here too. Our News Diary gives weekly activity notices and the Ecology page has links to all the main volunteer groups in the area and their events. We have walks and talks too!
The Green Gym - Have gardening and cleaning activities every Wednesday morning.
TCV - The Conservation Volunteers do regular conservation work along the river crane corridor
