Funded projects
Grow Wild awards funding of £2,000 or £4,000 to community groups to bring people together and transform communal spaces, by sowing and growing UK native wildflowers, plants and fungi.
Each of the 294 projects we've funded across the UK so far, inspire people to grow and learn about UK native wildflowers, plants and/or fungi through unique, creative ideas and events which involve the local community. We are always amazed by the creativity and inspiration of the groups, as they constantly find new ways to engage people in learning about UK native wildflowers, plants and fungi.
View our interactive map of funded projects. The map allows you to click through to each project’s profile page, featuring photos, activity records and ways to get in touch.

2018 Community Projects
What do a dinner club in Bermondsey, the UK’s first dedicated hip-hop school in Derby, a world record attempt in Lytham, a student action group in Swansea, street artists in Derry, and the residents of the wind-swept Hebridean island of Tiree all have in common?
You’ve guessed it. They are just a few of the 50 community groups and organisations that make up the Grow Wild 2018 community project network. From Caithness to the Isle of Wight, Redruth to Montrose and Fermanagh to Grimsby, this years network of projects is truly covering the length and breadth of the UK – reaching new audiences, connecting people with their neighbours and making, often dramatic, transformations to community spaces.
